The University of Waikato is one of New Zealand’s eight public universities, particularly strong in management, computer science, natural sciences, and education.
Founded in 1964, it is one of New Zealand’s youngest national universities.
The university has two campuses in two different cities. The Hamilton main campus covers 65 hectares surrounded by lakes and landscaped gardens, while the Tauranga campus is located in a vibrant coastal city with a focus on marine science.
