The New Zealand Visitor Visa is for those travelling to New Zealand for tourism, family visits, or short-term business purposes. Chinese passport holders are required to obtain a visa before entry.

Visa Types

• Tourist Visa: The most common visitor visa type, for those visiting New Zealand for sightseeing and leisure.
• Family Visit Visa: For visiting relatives residing in New Zealand.
• Business Visa: For short-term business visits, such as attending conferences, negotiating partnerships, or conducting market research.
• Transit Visa: For travellers transiting through New Zealand en route to a third country.

Eligibility Requirements

• A valid passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended departure date)
• Sufficient proof of funds (bank statements, salary records, etc.)
• Return or onward travel tickets (or proof of funds to purchase them)
• Health and character requirements
• Genuine purpose of visit (travel itinerary, invitation letter, etc.)
• Intention to depart New Zealand before the visa expires
