Founded in 1877, Northcote College is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most historically significant public co-educational secondary schools, located on Auckland’s North Shore. Curriculum
Northcote College offers a diverse range of courses to meet the interests and needs of different students. Students are required to select at least one course from each major learning area, and the school provides dedicated guidance for international students during course selection.

- Sport: badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, cycling, dragon boating, equestrian, football, hockey, tennis, rugby, skiing, softball, swimming, touch rugby, volleyball, water polo, and other specialist clubs (some activities may require equipment, uniform, or operational fees)
- Culture: Maori cultural performance groups, Tongan performance groups, lion dance teams, and events such as International Languages Week
- Community service and student leadership: tech support teams, peer mentoring, arts council, sports council, and new student buddy programmes
The school also has dedicated laboratories for food technology, digital technology, and hard materials technology. As part of its ongoing commitment to improving the learning environment, Northcote College launched a campus rebuild project in 2020, with the first phase including a new technology centre that provides students with advanced, modern learning facilities.
